Terms of Use
Use TaskRunner only on computers you own or are permitted to administer.
Updated October 6, 2026
1. Scope of the service
TaskRunner provides an account portal, Windows computer enrollment and associated device-management components. Features not shown as available in your workspace remain in development.
2. Your authorization
You are responsible for obtaining permission before installing TaskRunner or accessing any device. Do not use the service to access systems or data without appropriate authorization.
3. Protecting your account
Keep credentials and account-specific installation commands private. Review your session list and reset your installation key if you believe access information has been exposed.
4. Installation and maintenance
Windows installations require appropriate administrative approval. Installed components may periodically check the public stable manifest and apply supported, verified updates unattended.
5. Acceptable use
You must not interfere with services, bypass access controls, compromise another account or use the product in violation of applicable law.
6. Availability
Network availability, maintenance and the active feature release can affect what is accessible. The site does not promise access to unfinished RemoteWake capabilities.
7. Third parties and changes
Independent identity and hosting providers may have separate terms. TaskRunner is a separate product and is not the Desktop Commander service. This summary may be updated as the product develops.
